Richard Turner, MA, LADC1

Richard Turner, MA, LADC1 is a licensed dual diagnosis clinician with over 20 years experience working in the fields of addiction and mental health. Mr. Turner has worked at various outpatient locations, specializing in treating

individuals with chronic mental health issues that are exacerbated by dependence on substances. He is readily able to establish a repertoire with patients, encouraging consistent engagement in services and a more healthy

lifestyle. Mr. Turner also has significant experience working with couples and families. He is currently facilitating the daily Dual Diagnosis Group as well as seeing clients for individual therapy.

Sam Bellistri, MA, LCSW

Sam Bellistri, MA, LCSW is a licensed therapist with a specialty in the treatment of individuals with substance abuse disorders.  Mr. Bellistri has over 15 years experience as a counselor and has worked in the criminal justice system for more than forty years.  As such he able to easily develop strong working relationships with a diverse population.

Mr. Bellistri is also known for his efforts to engage clients in community resources and connect fellow group  members in an effort to support their recovery. He is both compassionate and constructive in his work with clients. Sam currently facilitates several Relapse Prevention & Recovery Groups in addition to working with both individuals and families.

Marti Morris-Beckford, MSW, LICSW

Marti Morris-Beckford, MSW, LICSW is an independently licensed clinician with experience of over 12 years working with clients in various settings including schools, hospitals and the community. Marti has worked with families with children with disabilities to support parents coping with the needs of the child and encouraging the child's development.  She has worked with clients with persistent, chronic mental illness to support them in living a fulfilling life. She also has experience working with clients in crisis and determining an appropriate safety plan. Marti completed her undergraduate degree in Family Social Services at Northern Illinois University. Her graduate work was completed at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Her initial work was in school social work but through her experience she has worked with all age groups from infants to geriatrics. Marti's strength-based practice allows her to build rapport with clients to assist them in meeting their goals and potential by solution focused problem solving.

Denise Whall-Marlin, LICSW

Denise is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over seven years of experience in providing psychotherapy. She has worked with all different kinds of people and families, and has helped them with a variety of challenges and mental health problems. Denise has post-graduate training in several types of treatment, including cognitive behavior therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, as well as an academic background from New York University in psycho-dynamic treatment. She knows that no two people are the same, so believes there is no cookie-cutter approach to therapy. Denise prefers to work together with her clients to find the unique approach that works best for each individual or family. She likes to combine support, empathy and humor with skills-building, problem solving and mindfulness to help people better manage overwhelming emotions and improve their relationships without any judgment. Denise's goal is to help her clients be put back in the driver's seat of life and to gain mastery over their feelings and relationships. She believes building a strong and trusting relationship with your therapist is very important and endeavors to provide both validation and truthful insights to her clients. Most of all, she strongly believes in a strengths-based, person-centered approach that recognizes each person's unique abilities and helps them to reach their highest potential.

Frieda Sullivan, LMHC

Frieda Sullivan, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor with twenty years of experience providing psychotherapy to adults who suffer from anxiety and depression. She has a special interest in treating trauma, using EMDR to ameliorate the symptoms caused by trauma, either recent or from early childhood, both large and seemingly small. In addition, Frieda uses various techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, expressive therapy, meditation and mindfulness.  Frieda has a deep respect for the relationship between client and therapist and for the client's natural urge towards healing.
